Mary Coakley of Magnolia, KY has completed the pre-requisite hours to become a certified Stained Glass artist at Avalon Stained Glass School & Creativity Center in Munfordville, KY.  Mary, a quilter created a lovely stained glass cross and was also selected as Avalon’s Student of the Month for September.

Meet Shelia Murphy

Shelia Murphy’s hobby is making quilts. During her career as an RN she often was a missionary to foreign countries. Just prior to retiring Shelia decided to take one of Avalon’s workshops and now Shelia has set up her own shop and studio and enjoys making quilt patterns in stained glass.
